Bean Description

Notes of pulpy stone fruits and honey

Processing

Mbuni (or M’buni): A Swahili term for dry-processed (natural)

Our Kenya MH Mbuni lot comes from the Kiburi washing station, where experienced farmers and processors use time-tested methods to ensure that the coffee is of the highest quality. The beans are hand-picked, sorted, and carefully processed to ensure that every cup of coffee is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication that goes into producing

MH (Mbuni Heavy): This indicates the density and quality of the beans. During the grading process, the dry-processed coffee is separated into two categories: MH (Heavy) and ML (Light)

Flavour

Kenya MH Mbuni boasts delightful notes of pulpy stone fruits and honey, making it a perfect choice for coffee connoisseurs looking for a unique and memorable experience. This coffee is processed using the natural method, which involves leaving the coffee beans to dry with the fruit still intact, allowing for a full-bodied and robust flavour.

Varieties

The coffee is made using a blend of SL28, SL34, RUIRU 11, and BATIAN varietals, all of which are known for their superior quality and taste. These varieties are carefully cultivated in the high-altitude regions of Kenya, where the climate is perfect for producing coffee with distinct and nuanced flavours.
